Pakistan is going through the worst energy crisis in its history. With the demand and supply gap increase, the energy cost is also soaring. An utmost remedial measure is required to cater this solution. Energy management is regarded a low hanging easily achievable fruit in this problem. For this solution, A team from Centre for Energy Research and Development (CERAD) UET Lahore including Wajahat sultan as team lead along with Sikander Ali, M.KamranM.Salman & Shoaib Ahmed went for the Energy Audit of Danish School for Girls Mianwali in order to explore the energy conservation measures and recommend the retrofitting and energy conservation solutions alongside the solar harvesting. For this, a walk-through energy assessment was conducted and this assessment is helpful to identify the areas and measures for saving electricity. The data gathered from energy assessment can be used to explore energy conservation measures. Lux Meter, Clamp Meter, DMM, Power Analyzer, Thermal Imager and infrared thermometer were used there and electrical measurements were taken at different locations in institute. Every unit saved is better than the unit generated.
