AERIL (Alternate Energy Research & Innovation Lab) provided the consultancy services for solar projects in FATA through “The FATA Development Program Government to Community (FDPGC)” covering KURRAM Agency, ORAKZAI Agency and North Waziristan Regions.The scope of projects involves feasibility study of sites, specifications and BOQ development for different type of pumping and solar systems, preparation of bidding document, evaluation of submitted bids, installation supervision and post verification of installed systems. Furthermore, component testing has also been conducted for awarded contractors.As per the scope of this project, teams visited ~50+ sites in FATA Region to check the feasibility of new systems, for installation of solar pumping system as well as post verification of already working systems.
