LED Lights Testing Lab
Center for Energy Research and Development (CERAD) has established quite a huge reputation nationwide by engaging, resolving and participating actively in support of Green/sustainable energy future of Pakistan. Being established and functional since 2012, CERAD has upgraded its strength both in technology and services. After Pakistan’s first and biggest operational solar PV testing facility as per IEC standards, CERAD has developed LED lights (Indoor & Outdoor lights) testing lab; in order to provide platform for public/private consumers to invest in quality products and support efforts of Energy Conservation and Energy efficient appliances dissemination in Pakistan.
CERAD is now providing state of the art LED lights testing services for quality and performance testing of Indoor/outdoor lights in compliance with international standards. As the market in Pakistan is flooded with products with no control over quality, it is mandatory that quality products are distinguished over low-quality products. The increased awareness of renewable energy (especially Solar energy) and energy efficient products has also raised a concern over the quality and performance too, to get the maximum output from huge capital investment. This heightens the need of services of qualification testing which is being addressed by services of CERAD.
In this regard, state-of-the-art Light test equipment has been installed and is operational since 2020. Below is the list of LED test available in CERAD:
