Renewable Energy and Efficiency Conference 2019

Renewable Energy and Efficiency Conference 2019 was held at Lahore Expo Center on 26th September. It was co-organized by E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd, Centre for Energy Research and Development (CERAD) and Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science (KICS) UET Lahore.  The opening ceremony was inaugurated by Dr. Khursheed Nizam, the owner of Jamal’s Yellow Pages Pakistan who shared his valuable career experiences with the audience that how did he became an MBBS doctor and how did he start his business. He told about his journey from Rs. 10,000 to 150 crores.The conference consisted of technical talks and sessions by the experts including Dr. Syed Abdur Rahman, Dr. Ghalib, Dr. Khurshid Bhatti, Mr. Rehan, Mr. Sajid, Jamshaid Iqbal Janjua, Waqas Khalid and Muhammad Ali from the field of Renewable energy and Industry.The talks were delivered on various topics including Renewable energy included Inverters for Microgrids, Energy Efficiency in Smart Buildings Energy Extraction from Safe Municipal Waste using Nano Technology, Blockchain and Solar Panel Installation. Industrial exhibition was also held at the occasion where different industries from all over the world placed their stalls. Team CERAD also placed their stalls where they showed the Research work in the field of Renewable energy being done at CERAD. Ambassador of Belarus Mr. Andree also made appearance with his associates. Provincial Minister for energy Dr. Akhtar Malik presented the souvenirs to the guests, distributed certificates to the successful students of Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) courses and the event ended up with certificates distribution among the conference organizers and the participants.
