Punjab Energy Efficiency and Conservation Agency (PEECA) is providing funding through Punjab Energy Department for the establishment of Air Conditioner (AC) Testing Lab at CERAD, UET-KSK Campus.A signing ceremony took place on 8th May 2019 for Establishment of Air Conditioner Testing Lab. The MoU signed between Punjab Energy Efficiency and Conservation Agency (PEECA) and UET Lahore. Vice Chancellor UET, Prof Dr. Aziz Akbar, Director CERAD, Dr. Waqar Mahmood, Mr. Mohammad Ali, Sr. Manager Energy Conservation Lab (ECL) and other faculty members represented UET while Managing Director, Mr. Adnan Mudassar and Program Manager, Mr. Abdul Rehman represented PEECA. Air Conditioner Testing Facility Laboratory will be the first of its kind in Pakistan, equipped with state of the art testing facilities. The lab will have the facility to test and standardize air conditioners according to international standards, provide trainings and stimulate research in the domain of HVAC systems.
