Well, before stepping into the course of ‘Solar Wind and UPS (Assembly Training)’, I did Matric in computer science. I always had a passion towards instrumentation, automation and renewable energy. This led me to apply for a training program ‘Instrumentation & Control Automation’ at CERAD UET Lahore. With this course I learnt a lot. Since I witnessed heavy load shedding in Pakistan and saw the energy crisis heavily in the rural areas of the country, I wanted to do something to overcome these crises. Thus when I got to know about the training course being offered at CERAD UET through NAVTTC (National Vocational and Technical Training Commission) named ‘Solar Wind and UPS (Assembly Training)’. I could not help getting myself enrolled into the program. I applied for it and luckily I got selected. The moment I was chosen, I was on cloud nine. The program helped me learn all which I wanted to do with my goal as the syllabus was detailed. The instructors were simply intelligent and trained. They helped us to get trained thoroughly. CERAD UET awarded me the opportunity to find a job at Alpha Renewables (SMC-PVT) Ltd. I also have planning to start my own business in renewable energy. I believe in hard work and if someone does it, success comes very near.
