International Lighting Expert Mr. Steve Coyne from Australia visited CERAD UET to make assessment of LED lights testing laboratory along with NEECA (National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority) representatives. NEECA invited Mr. Steve to visit various testing labs in Pakistan to assess their capacity and performance regarding LED Lights quality control and standardization. The delegation including Mr. Steve and representatives of NEECA was warmly welcomed by Director CERAD, Professor. Dr. Waqar Mahmood and Manager Alternate Energy Research and Innovation Lab, Syed Imran Ali Shah. As an expert, Mr. Steve Coyne shared his valuable input on lab activities and testing conditions. He also advised lab staff about some key points required to be fulfilled for accreditation process and latest international standards to be followed before his next visit to Pakistan.
